The DIP Fellowship encompasses a program for Software Engineering and a new initative tagged “People and Culture.” The paid internship programme is targeted at solving Nigeria’s skills gap challenge, which is one of the biggest issues facing the Nigerian market.

This Software Engineering fellowship is geared towards entry-level talents seeking to pursue  software engineering career in technology.

This year, the DIP fellowship expanded to accommodate “People and Culture” in line with national demands and reality of the times.

This particular program aims to instill strong orgnisational culture to young Nigerians who plan to pursue their careers in the engineering and ICT sectors to enable them adapt to evolving business cultures.

According to Founder and CEO of Dukka, Keturah Ovio,  “As a company that prides itself in its astounding work culture, we are certain about our decision to add a program that teaches young talents how to build the same.” Ovio further explained that Dukka, which offers digital bookkeeping and payment solutions for today and tomorrow’s African merchants, is interested in skilling up young Nigerians to enable organisations find the much-needed talent locally, rather than seek same from other climes.
